new wave syria_hello, yes remixed

Here are two remixes I did quite a while ago for a very fresh Slovenian synth pop band New Wave Syria. I’ve been a fan of their label Cheaptunes Records and their DIY ethos combined with circuit bending so it was a great pleasure to do two remixes for them which you can listen and download below. The first one is a droney, dark ambient sort of affair, while the second one is based on a few hip hop beats and pieces. Errorist Live @ Radiostudent (4.9.2010)

I’ve been invited to do Klubski Maraton 2010,  a series of concerts in many alternative clubs all over the country. I also got to play live in the studio of Radio Student which was recorded and filmed by the nice people at the radio. The results are below (audio and video slightly out of sync).

A few more words about how the concerts were played: No sequences were pre-prepared but live sound (played by synths, effects, stylophone and triggered by midi controllers) was looped live, layered and played  over and over again. Hope it makes some sense for the video.
